The room has heating but no air conditioning. It does not get too hot in summer. It includes a private kitchen and bathroom, a large desk, plenty of storage space including under-bed storage, a king-size bed, free Wi-Fi, a study desk, dining table, TV, fridge, microwave, electric hob, extractor hood, double wardrobe, and other basic facilities. The room also has an en-suite bathroom.

Apartment facilities
The reception is on the ground floor and can receive parcels for free. The building has a laundry room, rubbish room, courtyard, gym, and coffee machine. On the first floor, there is a common room with a pool table and other entertainment facilities, which can be used at any time. There is also a study room, a table tennis table, and spaces suitable for gatherings. In addition, there is a cinema room. All common areas are free to use. The apartment also holds events from time to time each month.

Location
The location is excellent. It is about 7 minutes’ walk to the Business School and Tesco, 5 minutes’ walk to Chinatown, and around 15 minutes to the main campus. There are many student accommodations nearby, so safety is not a concern. The metro station is just downstairs, and many good Chinese restaurants are only 3–4 minutes away.
