Some information about me! I'm taking a 12 month sabbatical from work, starting 1 May 2026. I'll be travelling regularly (mostly to windy locations for kitesurfing!) throughout my year off. Renting a room or two in my home will help me to keep costs under control. This means that I'll often be away for a month at a time and then at home for a month. Whilst at home I'll be carrying out renovation works, most of which will be external to the property, such as new fencing, solar on the roof, repointing of brick work, etc.
