Our interests include climate change, classic vehicles, motorcycling, cycling, theatre, art, dance, website design, reading, cinema, walking, wine tasting, cooking, volunteering, the house dog, travelling and good chats.
The £610 room has a single bed, dual aspect windows, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, chair and lots of book-shelves. It is available from March. We have 5 bathrooms altogether.
The £800 room has two single beds, two wardrobes, drawers, large desk, basin, shelves, views and will be available when the current lodgers find alternative accommodation.
Strictly no smoking/smoke/smokers. We have a big, rural view with many footpaths nearby. We have great bus routes for the city centre: 6 per hour taking about 15 minutes or it's a pleasant 30 minutes walk. For the university there are buses: 10 minutes or you can walk: 30 minutes across the skyline, or cycle: 15 minutes. Outside there is a large garden, fish pond, summerhouse for relaxing in, swimming pool, vegetable-growing space, possible shelter for bicycles and motorcycles. Herbs, spices, cleaning materials, some cleaning and all bills are included. There are shops, PO, petrol station all very near. The house has a large conservatory/diner, large lounge, small gym, kitchen/breakfast room with lots of gadgets and a utility area.
Looking for sociable people who like to chat but also enjoy privacy, peace at night and like to be clean and tidy. Discounts for help in house and garden occasionally. We have a rota for putting out the recycling. Sorry no cats but other small/medium-sized animals welcome including well-behaved dogs. Also sorry, I'm not on the early bird thing.
Negotiable space for car parking but ok for motorcycles or bicycles. We now have a gorgeous resident puppy - you don't need to be a dog lover but he would love some more people to play with in the garden and to take him for short walks.
Environmentally passionate, domesticated people preferred.
The notice period is a minimum of one month either way.
