Double Room in 2-Bedroom Parkside Tenement Flat

Lovely housemate wanted to fill double room in spacious two-bedroom tenement flat.

Move in flexible from start of May (or potentially sooner), but ideally before the start of June.

Cosy room with generous built in wardrobe. The flat has a large living room that is a great space for hosting dinner parties and board game nights (which you are highly encouraged to do so). Despite being basement level, the place gets plenty of light in the day due to the space provided by the surrounding patio terrace, which is also a great social area in nicer weather, with a line to hang washing out on. The kitchen is well-equipped, with decent room for two to share. There is a Margiotta's around the corner, a couple of coffee shops nearby, and big Lidl/Aldi/Sainsbury's all within 15 minutes' walking distance.

I can be very flexible with meeting and viewing times - send me a message and we can arrange a chat and flat tour at your earliest convenience. We can also arrange a video tour if you are keen to see the flat but aren't currently in Edinburgh.


About me, I'm a 29-year old young professional, currently working as a data analyst in the energy sector. I am a creative, thoughtful person with a wide range of interests. I'm ideally looking for someone I can form a genuine friendship with and make a warm, welcoming atmosphere at home when we're both around.

I play classical guitar, and write my own alt-folk songs on guitar and mandolin (I am quite considerate of when I play, but if this will annoy you please avoid!!!). I would love to share in music and other arts to expand our tastes and enjoy together.

I love hiking and have a car to access Munros and other sights around the country

I also enjoy reading and have a large collection of books you would be welcome to borrow!

I work predominantly from home, usually in my room but sometimes take meetings in the living room.

I am vegetarian, but no expectation for you to be (although I might be uncomfortable with large quantities of meat around). It would be wonderful to sometimes cook and share meals together.
