One large unfurnished room in first floor 3 bed flat just behind lark lane, with two gorgeous sash windows for tonnes of light.
All bills are approx. £180 per month and are shared amongst ourselves. We have a beautiful open kitchen and living room that was refurbished last Summer, with a large bathroom including bath and separate shower. The windows are double glazed and we have no damp issues. We also have use of a shared garden out back. The rest of the flat is furnished and there may be an opportunity to buy a bed from our departing housemate.
The two of us remaining have been here 2 and 3 years respectively and really treat this place like a home and ideally looking for someone who wants to be here a while. We pride ourselves on the flats warm and calm energy and love having a friendly and peaceful home. We’re looking for someone relaxed and easy going to join us and prefer to keep it an LGBTQ friendly household. We take good care of each other and get on well but equally have a lot of space for ourselves and have our own friendship groups. We like to bake for each other and occasionally share dinner etc and it’s a great flat for those little chats when you get home from work. I’m a psychologist and Rach works in accounte and we both hybrid work from home/office. We both have creative sides and love travelling. There’s usually some banana bread knocking about and we buy each other little pick me up treats when things get stressful! In the week we’re both at home a lot in the evenings, Rach usually has a yoga class on the go and I’m currently studying French. Weekends it really varies but often we’re out and about with friends either down the lane or for weekends away. Although we’re social, most of our partying/social life happens outside of the flat but we of course have people come and stay every now and then.
We have an excellent relationship with our landlord and we deal directly with him. Our upstairs neighbour is really quiet and we’ve never had any issues with our other neighbours. We have off road parking. The contract is shared and doesn’t fall under HMO but we’ve never had issues when swapping housemates and just sign a new contract together.
