Cute room in Queer 2 bed flat :)

My housemate is sadly moving to another country and I’m looking for someone to take her room.

It’s available from the 1st of May, I'm slightly flexible on that date as I would rather find the ideal person to live with rather than fill it asap. Ideally I would like someone that can stay at least 6 months, but also flexible as long as I get at least 1 month notice when you want to move out. It’s located on Forest road in Walthamstow, a 3 minutes walk from Lloyds Park.

About the room:

It comes furnished with a double bed and mattress and small chest of drawers. The rent is £800 plus bills, council tax (band B) and household things, which all together comes to between £120-£180 depending on the heating use. It’s a sublet, so there isn’t a contract to sign or references to provide, however i’m happy to put you on the council tax bill if you need a proof of address for anything, there’s also a security deposit of £500.

Transport:

The flat is located a 15 minutes walk from either Walthamstow central or blackhorse road station. There’s a bus stop 2 minutes walk away that takes you to Blackhorse road station, Tottenham or Wood Green.

Accessibility:

From the front door, there is one set of stairs with 15 steps that takes you to the flat upstairs. The bathroom is at the end of a long corridor. There is an extra 2 steps inside the flat to access the bedroom that is located right next to the living room. The living room is on the main road side, bedroom is looking over the garden. The garden is accessible via another set of stairs with 15 steps and is shared with the downstairs neighbours.

I’m a 34 years old queer woman working part time in a local cafe and building a career as a session bassist the rest of the time. I mostly practice with headphones and I’m generally a very quiet person. I mostly keep to myself, but I’d like a housemate that enjoys the occasional chat with tea or wine.
