I'm looking for a new flatmate to share my two-bedroom flat as my current one is moving out. The details:
The flat:
- Location: Perfectly situated between Clapham and Brixton, just a 10-minute walk from Clapham North, Clapham High Street and Brixton tube stations.
- Convenience: Very close to a big Lidl and Tesco Superstore, with Clapham High Street nearby for all your amenities.
- Layout: The flat has two bedrooms, a spacious living room/dining area, a newly renovated kitchen, and bathroom. Plus a large cupboard for extra storage!
- Ambiance: Bright and airy, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The room:
- Furnishings: The room includes a double bed, wardrobe, dresser, and potentially a desk for your work-from-home setup.
- View: A large window facing the garden, providing a west-facing view and plenty afternoon light.
About me:
- Profession: I work in finance and work in the office every day. I head off early but am usually around in the evenings to hang out.
- Personality: Chill and peaceful, I value creating a homely vibe.
- Interests: I love going to gigs, the cinema/film club, theatre, dining out, and exploring bars. I also enjoy pub quizzes, baking, reading, hiking, and hosting themed nights occasionally.
What I'm looking for:
- Preferred Tenant: A female who values a peaceful atmosphere. Works from home, hybrid, or in the office. Seeking not just a flatmate but a friend to share in the joy of a comfy and welcoming space. I do have my own friends and I'm happy to include you if you'd like or happy to keep it separate.
- Habits: Non-smoker, and sorry, no pets (even though I love them!!).
Logistics:
-Contract: You would officially be on the lease as we would be swapping my current flatmate with you on the contract.
-Background Checks: This will be done through the agent so all background checks, salary, proof of residency, proof of employment must be approved for you to move in.
-Deposit: £1269
-Council tax: Band C £90pcm
-Bills: Gas, Electricity, Water and WiFi are £60pcm on average.
