Hi!
We have a double room available from mid-May in our terraced house on Lugard Road.
The location is great, 3-5 min walk to Queens Road Peckham Overground, and a short walk to Nunhead and Peckham Rye. Lots of good coffee spots nearby.
You’d be living with two professionals in our mid/late 30s. Our long-term housemate is moving out, and we’d love to find someone chilled, friendly, and easy to live with. We’ve been here 5 years and it really feels like home.
We both work fairly long hours (film industry + live music), so we value a calm, relaxed house. We still go out and have fun, but it’s not really a party house…
The room is an unfurnished double on the ground floor, with a shared bathroom on the ground floor.
There’s also a small box room on the upper floor, which Lizzie plans to use as a workout/cycling space. This could be shared if that’s of interest.
Rent:
£817 + bills (room only)
£916.50 + bills (with shared box room)
Bills are usually around £100/month in winter, the property is Council Tax band D.
We also have a cleaner twice a month.
Plus a contribution towards cat food and litter
The garden is south-east facing and we’re in the process of upgrading the furniture - aiming for a nice space for summer evenings.
We have a cat, Gizmo (11), very low maintenance but will loudly remind you if her food bowl is empty.
We’re ideally looking for someone who wants a longer-term home rather than something short-term.
If it sounds like a good fit, get in touch!
