Hi! We’re looking for a new flatmate to join our 3-bed flat in London Bridge 🌃
The flat
The flat itself is cosy but well-sized for the area. We’ve got:
* A separate kitchen and living room
* A genuinely decent-sized living space
* A balcony
* Lots of natural light throughout, especially in the living room and your bedroom
It’s generally a calm, peaceful space during the week, we both work fairly intense 9–5s so we like coming home to something that feels chill and relaxed.
The room:
* Furnished double room
* Big window with good natural light
* Good size for London Bridge
* Comes with existing furniture
The practical bits:
* Rent: £1,100 pcm
* Bills: ~£110 pcm
* Deposit: £860
* Move-in: 1st June (negotiable)
* Contract: 12 months
Getting around:
We’re about a 5-10 min walk to:
*London Bridge (Northern, Jubilee, Thameslink, Southeastern, 45mins to Gatwick)
*Waterloo (Southwest trains, Bakerloo, Waterloo and City, Jubilee, Northern)
*Blackfriars (District, Circle, Thameslink)
*Borough (Northern)
*Southwark (Jubilee)
But honestly we’re so central that you can walk basically everywhere and we barely take the tube.
Your flatmates:
You’ll be living with Meraal and Rowan.
Meraal is a strategy consultant, WFH 3 days a week. I’m into barre and the gym, and generally quite into health and wellness, but equally love treating myself to new restaurants and trying different spots around London. I like going for walks in and around London, and I’m really into reading, theatre, and keeping up with what’s going on in the world.
Rowan is a trader and work in the office full time. I’m really into Pilates, exploring cute cafes and bakeries, and I’m always up for trying new food spots. I also make a pretty mean margarita if you ever fancy a relaxed evening in, and I’m always happy to share recommendations for the best local places.
During the week it’s pretty chill. We’ll usually catch up in the evenings if we’re around, but everyone has their own routine. Weekends we’re mostly out with friends, doing our own thing, but try and plan some stuff together every now and then.
We keep the flat clean and organised, and have a cleaner every two weeks to keep things ticking over.
Who we’re looking for ideally:
* Female, 25–32
* Working professional with a similar routine
* Social but independent
* Clean, considerate, and easy to live with
Not a party flat, but not silent either, just someone who’s up for the occasional catch-up and contributes to a chill atmosphere.
