Bright room in calm Leyton flat

All billls included, with monthly cleaner. Only sharing with 1 person, study included!

You: You are friendly, easy going and considerate. You've got your own thing going on but you're interested in the people you live with & happy to have a chat over a cuppa. Ideally you've got experience living in share houses.

Us: I'm Sammy. I was born & raised in Australia and I've been in London for 10 years. I'm housesitting elsewhere for the rest of the year, so you'll be sharing with my wonderful housemate Josh. He's considerate, straighforward, has a great sense of humor, and is the best housemate I've ever had (swear down!). He works variable shifts in hospitality and has a thriving social life, so we often only cross over a couple of times a week. Our home is our sanctuary. Josh doesn't drink, but doesn't mind if you do. We're not ok with any kind of illegal drugs in the house.

The Room: Large room with lovely big window, furnished with a double bed with under bed storage, a lamp & plants. The box room next to the bedroom is also all yours, the bureau, monitor and shelves are available to use (I'll clear the shelves out before I go). All bills are included. I have permission from the landlord to have lodgers.

The Flat: An Abrahams style first floor flat with a beautiful big garden. It does get cold in the winter, even with the heating, but it's par for the course with a Victorian flat. The living/dining room at the back has a lovely view over the garden. The bathroom is compact but does the job. And, again, is b****y cold in winter. We'd be cleaning up after ourselves, a cleaner comes once a month for deeper cleans. The garden is a never ending work in progress. You're more than welcome to get involved, if you like. It's a lovely place to sit and enjoy the serenity.

The Location: Leyton is a great area with a community feel. All the delights of Francis Road are but a 5 min walk from our doorstep. The flat is smack bang in the middle of Leytonstone & Leyton tube stations on the Central line, either station is 10 minutes walk away. The Overground is a 15 min walk, which connects to Haringey Green Lanes & Hampstead Heath. A small Sainsbury's and a small Tesco are 10 min away. A big Tesco, a big ASDA, Aldi & M&S are a 20 min walk away. Westfield Stratford is but a tube stop (or 10 min cycle) away.
