Large double room in sociable Holloway house

Hi!

We're Bish (James), Josca, Ted and Sam - one woman and three men, looking for a housemate to join us in our lovely home in Holloway from the 4th of July.

The house:

5-bedroom house in Holloway Road area. With an open-plan living area (kitchen, lounge and dining area), a garden, 2 bathrooms and 2 extra toilets, and a spare guest room.

The place is in a great location, right next to Holloway Road. It's 5 mins from Holloway Road Station (Piccadilly Line), 8-10 mins from Highbury & Islington (Victoria line and various overground lines), 8 mins from Drayton Park (Rail Station) and near plenty of other bus routes. We're a stone's throw from Upper Street area, which is crammed with hundreds of restaurants, bars, shops and 2 cinemas, and we're only 2 minutes from Paradise Park, 10 mins from Highbury Fields and 10 mins from Caledonian park.

Bills are not included and they usually are just over £100 - including council tax, broadband, tv license, water, etc. We also have a fortnightly cleaner.

The place is furnished. The room is unfurnished but all the furniture in the pictures can be bought for £300.

About the housemates:

Bish - 34, from Manchester, working in customer support for a software company. I've been living in London for 10+ years - I like going to the cinema, eating out/cooking, running and watching football. I'm chill, easy-going, and always up for hanging out or watching a movie.

Josca - 33, a Dutch/Belgian researcher in women's health at Imperial College - but I have lived in the UK for 15 years now! In my spare time I like to cook, dance (both in studios and elsewhere!), and do yoga. I am a craft beer and food enthusiast and am always keen to explore new areas of London!

Ted - 31, originally I’m from the Lake District, but I’ve been in London for around 6 years working as a software engineer at random start ups. Big into movies, reading, running, cooking, watching the f1. Takes me zero convincing try a new restaurant/pub/bakery.

Sam - 31, also from the lake district and work at the Francis Crick Institute. Love bouldering and the outdoors, but can never stay away from London for long. Most recent addition to the house & Islington and loving it.

We're all friendly, outgoing, chilled out and looking for a like-minded housemate. Bish has been in the house for 7 years!

As a house we enjoy doing stuff together like going out for food, watching films or Flatmate Dinner on Mondays where we take turns each week to cook. Nothing is mandatory of course but we're looking for sociable people who are up for being part of a shared home, rather than just looking for a room. The ideal housemate will be clean, tidy, easy going, social, considerate, have a good sense of humour and would ideally join when we hang out every now and again.
