Our lovely housemate is moving in with his girlfriend, and so a room is becoming available.

THE HOUSE AND LOCATION

To be honest, we still pinch ourselves at how lucky we are to have found this place. It's beautiful.

Set over three floors, there are 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, an open plan kitchen / diner, a basement snug, and a small courtyard. We’re opposite Jesus Green, a community garden space. Perfect for sunbathing and picnics.

We couldn’t wish for a better location, just off Columbia Road. The street is so peaceful, almost pedestrianised. Everything Hackney has to offer is within easy reach. Despite having the iconic Columbia Road and the buzz of East London on our doorstep, once you’re inside, it’s an oasis of calm.

10 min walk to Hoxton
15 min walk to Bethnal Green

THE ENSUITE ROOM

The room is a large double room on the first floor, with its own private en-suite bathroom. The bedroom benefits from two large sash windows. The room comes unfurnished, but the bed, mattress and wardrobe (all nearly new) are yours to buy if you want them.

THE VIBE

We’re looking for a kind and friendly housemate. We're easy going and sociable, but equally enjoy doing our own thing. We’ve each got lots of hobbies that keep us busy. The house is well looked after, everyone does their bit. We share milk, olive oil, spices, cleaning stuff, etc.

We welcome friends round for dinner and birthday drinks; it is our home after all. But if you’re looking for an East London party hub, this is not the place for you.

THE SMALL PRINT

Rent is £1460. Bills are £150/month approx.

You will be referenced through the letting agent, and joining us on a tenancy agreement, which begins on 27 April 2026. You can move in whenever you like, but must be willing to start the contract on this date. We’d like someone who intends to stay here long-term.
