South facing double room available in a modern 2-bed, 2-bath flat in East Village, E20. My current flatmate is moving out after buying locally, so I’m looking for someone to take over his room. It’s a relaxed, tidy, and respectful home rather than a big social/party flat, so someone who fits that vibe would be ideal.

Location:

5 mins to Westfield Stratford City & Stratford Station (Elizabeth Line, Tube, DLR, Overground)
~20 mins to central London
Right by the Olympic Park, and several other parks
Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, M&S, Westfield etc all within 5 minute walk.
Tons of nice coffee spots and restaurants in East Village
Olympic swimming pool and gym is 10 min walk
Olympic Velodrome and outdoor bike track is a 4 min cycle
20 min walk to Hackney Wick/Hackney Bridge

The flat:

Spacious unfurnished double bedroom (4.26m x 2.78m). South facing so gets great sunlight.
Private bathroom with shower (not shared)
Fully furnished kitchen, living room, and balcony

Parking available (separate arrangement)

The bedroom is unfurnished as the current housemate is bringing all of his furniture with him. If required I would be able to arrange for a bed and mattress to be dropped off for an additional fee if it is easier for you.

About me:
I am originally from Ireland and moved to London 4 years ago, I work in the music industry and work from home full-time, so the flat is generally calm during the day.

House vibe / who I'm looking for:
Looking for someone easygoing, friendly and considerate. I like to keep the place clean and tidy, so it suits someone who’s naturally on the same page with that. It’s generally a pretty calm flat, so probably best suited to someone with a similar lifestyle. Since I work from home, my preference would probably be someone who is office based most of the time.
