Well proportioned double bedroom available to rent in a sunny split-level flat in the Sydenham / Crystal Palace area. £875 per month plus bills (around £185, totalling approx £1060 per month. Council tax band is B)

The flat is right next to the gorgeous Wells Park, 10 minutes walk from Sydenham station and a 5 minute bus ride from the Crystal Palace triangle with lots of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. There’s a well stocked shop downstairs in the building and a tesco express 5 minutes walk away.

The available room is a spacious double with in-built storage space and is currently furnished with a bed, chest of drawers, bedside table, mirror, desk and chair which you’re welcome to purchase at a reduced rate.

There’s a tranquil south-facing living/dining room with a balcony that gets a lot of sunlight. The sofa is brand-new and extremely comfy! The flat also benefits from a smaller spare room which can be used for occasional guests, storage etc. The flat has recently been completely refurbished so everything is new including the kitchen, bathroom, and carpets.

You’ll be living with Nat, 29, who works in the charity sector. I’m a lesbian who loves cinema, Star Trek, and Sufjan Stevens. I usually work from home several days a week and am looking for someone clean and relaxed to share the flat with and make it our home. I’m respectful of personal space but would also like to hang out sometimes! LGBTQ+ women or non-binary people preferred, no cis men please.

The current tenancy runs until January 2027 (this will become periodic when the Renters Rights Act is introduced) and you’ll be replacing the previous flatmate Isabella on it. You’ll need to pass the standard agency checks/referencing. There’s flexibility on move in date - any time from 21st May to 2nd June.
