Clerkenwell double available 5 February 2024

The location

Our flat is on the first floor of a small block which has a private gated courtyard looking out onto the back of St John Priory Church. The block has a really relaxed neighbourly feel, with a mix of younger residents as well as families.

The Space

We have a big living room with a couple of sofas and a dining table, a modern new kitchen which is well-stocked with everything you need to cook up a storm, and a modern bathroom.

The room is fully furnished with a wardrobe, bedside table and a chest of drawers, plus a huge full length mirror

The flatmates

2 of us are leaving and our remaining flat mate is also moving on at the end of June so we are looking for 2 new flatmates for 1 June and will advertise the third room for beginning of July

The area

Clerkenwell is a fabulous part of town right next to the City of London. It's very central but also surprisingly peaceful, especially at weekends. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby, with Exmouth Market and Smithfield Market both on our doorstep. We are also close to Angel, Shoreditch and Bloomsbury. We are about 1min from a Waitrose and a Tesco, with a Sainsbury's less than a 5min walk away. Really everything you need is within walking distance.

The Landlord

We deal directly with the private landlord and his friend who lives locally and manages the flat. They receptive and helpful. Bills are in addition to rent coming to about £70 a month plus Council tax which is approx is £55 a month.
