Furnished Double Room

Furnished double room available in a quiet, ground-floor flat near Clapham North and Battersea. Set back from the road, the flat is a peaceful retreat just a short walk from Clapham High Street and Battersea Power Station. We’re looking for a friendly, full-time working professional to join us in our three-bedroom flat.

About us: we are both 27 & 29 working professionals in London. We work most weekdays in the office (London City) and occasionally work from home. We love sports, especially anything outdoors like cycling, surfing, tennis and climbing. Looking for someone who is chill, social, friendly and works full time, ideally a young professional of a similar age. We would prefer a male.

The room has furniture including a double bed, 2x bedside tables, chair, mirror and a rail hanger. Room size: 4.1m x 2.4m. It has two large windows and looks onto a leafy garden courtyard. We can supply a desk if required.

The shared kitchen is equipped with all the usuals including a large fridge, microwave, toaster etc. There is no dishwasher. It is a good sized kitchen with plenty of storage space. We have superfast, full fibre WiFi.

There is a good size living room with a TV and sofas (picture is slightly outdated), bookcase and dining table. There is a single bathroom shared by all residents.

1 min walk to Wandsworth Road Overground station which will get you to Clapham Junction or Canary Wharf. 8 min walk to Clapham North tube station which will get you to Bank or Waterloo in less than 15 minutes. Fast direct 24h buses to Clapham Junction and Central London. Night bus 77 and 87 get you to Trafalgar Square and Waterloo in 20 minutes. Close to bars, restaurants and shops on Clapham High Street and Clapham Junction. Clapham Old Town is a 5 minute walk away with lots of bars, pubs and Sainsburys.

Street parking permits are available and there is a free for all parking arrangement around the back. The flat is cleaned once every two weeks.

Rent is £975 a month. Includes all bills, wifi, water, maintenance, cleaning, electricity/gas/heating, council tax etc. We will be able to take viewings from 23/04/26 - away on a trip this week! The flat is available from now and I will update some of the photos when back in London. The deposit will be one months rent. We are not open to short term lets.

We currently have an ongoing issue with a water leak coming into the kitchen, however we are hoping to get this resolved soon!
