High quality, quiet, sunny, and secure apartment with patio. 4 mins from tube station, 10 minutes from King Cross. Bi-weekly payments preferred.
ABOUT ME:
I'm a Civil Engineer by profession, though currently on a break. Born in this area (parents don't live far), and went to university locally (UCL). In my spare time I like running, tennis, outdoor HIIT, skiing, martial arts, etc. and to occasionally go out with friends or to have them over for a meal or barbeque. We're not rowdy people. I keep a low-key social life, don't drink much & enjoy the apartment’s calm setting. I also keep it in good condition and fix things when they break.
ABOUT YOU:
I'd appreciate someone who is reasonably sociable, instead of feeling like I’m living with a ghost that never leaves their room. You're welcome to occasionally have people over provided this is done responsibly and that you know who you're inviting. My expectations:
- You're tidy and respectful of shared spaces, and use appliances correctly
- Will let me know of any guests staying over (occasional partner visits are fine)
- No frequent/riotous parties, drug use, or casual hookups in the flat with strangers
- You are responsible for any guests’ behaviour in the flat and around the estate
You can expect similar from myself.
YOUR BEDROOM:
- 13m2 bright, south-west facing room with large patio doors
- 4m2 bathroom, located in the corridor
- Single bed that expands into a comfortable double
- Wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers, fitted desk, and shelves
- High-speed Wi-Fi and plenty of natural daylight
Additional photos and/or floorplan available upon request for privacy reasons.
RENT:
I'm probably not your typical 'landlord'. I'm more concerned with finding the right person/people to live with, than trying to charge as much £ as I can for the room. The exact rent and move in date are flexible, provided we want similar things and get along well. Other adjustments might include:
- Optional cleaning services (extra)
- Access to a private office space (extra)
- Pet approvals (likely extra, but depends)
- If you would like bills included or not (currently most are included except TV license)
- Council tax (band E) deductions (for students)

FURTHER INFORMATION:
My current flatmate has been great, but unfortunately (for me) she has decided to buy a place with her partner. They don't know the move-in date yet (the legalities usually take a while) - I am currently assuming the room will be available from July.
I prefer someone who wants to move in for the longer term, though I'm potentially open to shorter-term stays - but will charge a daily rate of approximately £100 for stays less than 1 week.
Thanks for reading – if this sounds like a good fit, drop me a message with a bit about yourself and your ideal move-in date. I look forward to hearing from you. I will aim to respond to enquiries within 5 days.
