---reposting this as one flatmate fell through ---
Both rooms were initially filled, but one of the new flatmates has since dropped out, so we’re looking again for one person to move in on 12 April. As the move-in date is quite soon, it would need to be a fairly quick turnaround, with viewings this week on Tuesday and Thursday.
More than just filling a room, I’m hoping to find someone who values creating a real home together. Over the past few years, the house has been a place where we share the occasional meal, spend time together now and then, and where communication and mutual consideration really matter. It’s the kind of household where people feel comfortable offering a hug on a difficult day, while also respecting each other’s independence and space.
The house is inclusive and welcoming. I’m part of a large LGBTQIA+ community in London, so it’s naturally a very open, respectful and affirming home.
One of the loveliest parts of the house is the sunny garden, where I’ve recently started growing tomatoes, chillies and strawberries. It’s a really nice space to relax, read, or spend time together when the weather is good.
*About us*
Marleen, 36, works full-time as a project manager and is finishing her counselling training this summer. She enjoys meditation, yoga, ecstatic dance, cycling, theatre, comedy, and generally trying out new things around London.
Korrie, 33, works as a digital product manager and enjoys art, film, books, podcasts and is currently training for the London Marathon. He values open and respectful communication, and wants to invest in making a place feel like home.
About the house
It’s a bright three-bedroom house with:
a spacious living room
large kitchen
two bathrooms
plenty of storage (including space for bikes)
a sunny garden
I’ve lived here for three years and have a very good relationship with both the agency and the landlady, who have been great and didn’t increase the rent at the last renewal.
