As well as the large sitting-room, with its smart TV, there’s a large kitchen (with decent size table) and a study, which makes the flat flexible and spacious for just two people.

The flat’s in a gated apartment complex set in six acres of gardens and grounds, and opposite a park. It’s in a neighbourly and fashionable area of Battersea, very close to the river opposite Chelsea Harbour; neighbouring Battersea Square is very continental-style and pretty.

There’s plenty of choice for transport: a bus to Victoria goes from just outside; Clapham Junction station (mainline and London Overground) is around 12 mins walk; Battersea Power Station (Northern line) is easy to reach by bus; South Kensington and Sloane Square stations (District, Circle & Piccadilly lines) are also short bus rides away. You can easily walk to Chelsea’s King’s Road.

Joint household items e. g. cleaning products are paid for out of a kitty. Council tax is excluded (nothing payable Feb-Apr of each year).
