Cosy Room in Friendly West End Flat – Move in May

Hello, we have a small double room available from the first week of May in Rupert Street, Glasgow (Woodlands) G4.

🥾Transport: 5 mins walk to St. George’s subway station, 30 mins walk to central, 15 mins walk to glasgow uni. We are close to woodlands road and great western road, both of which have regular buses.

🏡Rent: £580 (£625 inc. council tax - band D), bills are usually £40-70pp depending on season. The flat is managed by A&S Properties, there will also be a deposit which I believe is around £616pp.

☀️Looking for: working professionals, ideally looking for folk aged between 25-35, but willing to be flexible. Students are also welcome but would need to pay the council tax too.

🛏️Furniture: The room comes furnished with a double bed, desk, wardrobe and a small set of drawers. There is one shared bathroom with a shower, a small kitchen and a shared living room.

👋Current flatmates: You would be living with Esme (25, non-binary & queer), an archaeology student who is about to graduate in the summer, and Chloe (26), just relocated from Australia currently job searching.

We’re generally quite quiet, and would appreciate a quieter flat, although we do love a good yap, and are keen on flat dinners, and pub/movie/game nights. We both share a love of music, films and enjoy keeping active/going to the gym.

🧹Flat rules: We really value keeping communal spaces clean and tidy, therefore we’re looking for someone that is communicative and considerate, preferably with some shared living space experience. Previously we have had set weekly jobs which has been working to some extent, however we’re keen to organise a new plan once the room is filled.

🛁Accessibility: the flat is on the ground floor but there are two steps to enter from outside, additionally some spaces are tight (especially the kitchen and toilet) therefore probably wouldn’t be accessible for wheelchair users or those with mobility difficulties.
