Double/king room in Queer Friendly Home

Hi! I’m River (they/them) 🌿

I’m looking for someone to join our home and take one of the two bedrooms. I live on the property in a converted garage ("the cabin"). So I sleep out there, but I use and share the house day-to-day. You’d be living with me and Amy, who’s newer to the house and brings a fun, connecting energy.

Between us, I work shifts and Amy works out of the house, so there’s a bit of a gentle rhythm — and the house is often quiet during the day, which could suit someone working from home.

The room is currently unfurnished (though I could furnish it for the right person). The house has a cosy lounge, separate dining room, kitchen, and a conservatory set up as a home office, plus a lush garden with fruit trees and space for fires.

It’s a lived-in, evolving home with the odd gentle project on the go.
I have a cat, and my current housemate has a dog who’s moving with him, so I’d be open to another pet if it feels like a good fit.

The vibe is calm, respectful and quietly communal. Queer folks very welcome 🌈 Not a party house — more shared tea and doing your bit to keep things flowing.
