Ancoats - Double Room available in 3 Bed Flat

Hey y'all! After a friend had to drop out last minute for a new job opportunity, we have a large double room available in a 3 bedroom townhouse style apartment located within a large, gated building complex in Ancoats. You will unfortunately need to be able to pass referencing/affordability, although as described below you will see there's some wiggle room there.

The bedroom comes fully furnished with a dresser, bedside table, bed, and an additional closet space just outside the room. NOTE: the desk and the TV in the image are being taken away by the flatmate that is leaving, but the rest is furnished. For the advertised bedroom, you'd be sharing the bathroom with just me, as my flatmate Declan is in the en suite room upstairs.

The flat is just a few minutes walk from New Islington tram stop, a 10 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly, and close by to Northern Quarter, an Aldi, and Puregym, as well as Etihad campus and Co-op live, if you happen to work in the area.

Aside from myself, you’ll be living with the aforementioned Declan (28) who is staying in the property in the en suite.

I consider myself very easy going but also easy to live with - generally sociable but always respectful of privacy and cleanliness in shared areas. I'd like to live with someone I can call a friend, even if that just means no awkwardness in casual conversations around the flat. I work in sports media so I'm obviously quite into sports but I can usually get along well with just about anyone's interests.

Amenities include a dishwasher, utility room with a seperate dryer, and washing machine.

Bills are not included and usually come to around £160 - £180pcm each dependent on the time of year.

NOTE: Spareroom won't let me put the correct deposit, which is £712 pounds. Council Tax Band C, I believe.

Second NOTE: With our third flatmate leaving just before the start of our renting cycle, we're technically looking for an official move-in on the 24th of May. However, the room is currently empty, so we'd be happy for someone to move in 'unofficially' and pay pro-rated rent for any weeks before while they go through the referencing and affordability renting/deposit process with the letting agency.
