We have a double room with an en-suite bathroom available for a lodger from Saturday 2nd May 2026 onwards.
The room features double glazed windows with Hillarys Roman Blinds (new in 2024). The room is furnished, currently featuring a double bed with Otty Hybrid Mattress, a desk, TV stand, chests of drawers and other storage. The room includes a TV aerial socket and the house is covered by a TV licence.
The en-suite bathroom includes a toilet, sink and shower (new in 2022). The bathroom windows were new in 2024 and a new silent bathroom fan was fitted in 2025.
The rent includes the cost of bills for water, gas, electricity, council tax and fibre broadband (currently a 900 Mbps connection). There are no hidden fees but food and drink is not included (apart from water)! The rent is guaranteed not to rise for at least 12 months.
The house has gas central heating and a new top of the range Worcester Bosch boiler was installed last month.
We have a large garden, large kitchen, car washing facilities and one parking space available for your use. The kitchen features a large Ninja air fryer, microwave and a new gas range cooker. The use of the communal washing machine and tumble dryer is included, and a fridge and freezer is provided for the sole use of our lodgers.
We are a family of three - 2 adults and a 5-year-old child. We also have 3 rabbits that mostly live outside.
You would not be allowed to smoke in the room, but you would be allowed to vape. Smoking would be permitted outside in the garden or at the front of the house. Pets can be considered. We feel that the room is most suitable for a single person, although you would of course be allowed to have people stay over in your room. Couples can be considered - this would require a £100 per month additional charge.
