Friendly professional seeks cosy house share

Hello there, I'm Em (she/they)

A little about me -
• I first moved to Brighton over a decade ago and fell in love with our city by the sea. I came back for work and have been living in Brighton & Hove for the last 3 years.
• I need to have moved house by June. I currently live in a flat share with one other person, and I have many years of experience living in shared houses of 3 – 10 people.
• I work at a charity in central Brighton, with very occasional days working from home.
• I like to fill my spare time with sea swimming, roller skating, crochet, dancing, adventures with friends, working out, going to the cinema or gigs or drag cabaret shows, and trying new things. I have a busy life but I make time for the things that matter.
• I bring to the table home brewed kombucha, always washing up/ cleaning up after myself, a good listening ear for when you’ve had a hard day, and more!

My needs –
• I’m looking for a cosy, warm house/ flat share in Brighton or Hove to call home for the next 6 months or more.
• An unfurnished room, I have bedroom furniture and double bed.
• To live with other LGBTQ+ people or lovely allies.
• Good, clear communication. I also like to socialise together and share meals when there’s time.
• I’m definitely not looking for a messy ‘party house’ and prefer home to be a relaxed space during the week.

My nice to haves –
• Co-operative housing or living by community values.
• A garden or balcony. I love caring for plants, growing food and being outdoors.
• I don’t have pets of my own, but I get on well with them. I’d love to live in a house with a cat especially and could happily cat sit.
• Housemates who actively spend time together, who might be up for craft nights, cooking together, or something else. I’d love to learn about your hobbies, interests and passions!
