Looking for light, airy room with good transport l

Hello,

I am a female professional looking to rent a 1 bedroom space, ideally close to the train line from Leatherhead to Waterloo, for 12 months or so.

I'm starting a new job in Surrey so relocating south, but am hoping to be able to be able to buy my own place towards the end of the year/early 2027. My move date is flexible from mid May but the first week of June would be perfect.

I've always lived in houseshares and get on well with others but it would be great to find something slightly self contained this time around. Happy to pay more if necessary for an annex, en suite or studio. A balcony would be ideal. I need to be able to work from home from the room on average 2 days per week.

The space doesn't need to be fully furnished as i have my own stuff but I'm not intending to bring much with me unless i have to!

I'm friendly, respectful of others' space and property, but my party days are (mostly!) behind me and I'm looking for a place that feels relaxed and calm. Would love to live with like minded people.

I have a stable, full time job (with DBS clearance) and can provide landlord references on request.
