Want to buddy up from July 2026?

Openly straightforward single guy, 53 years old, non smoker and no pets. I am exceptionally clean and tidy, quiet and have respect for others. I will be at home for most of the time, sometimes working.

Right now, I am casually browsing for properties and can send links to places I have seen that might be of interest. Given the housing shortage in Central Edinburgh, and the high cost of rentals this is why I am looking for a tenancy share. If the right property happens to be outside of the City then that's okay.

Who I am looking for:
I would prefer to share a property with someone who is quiet, clean and tidy, respectful, sociable, and reliable. We don't need to live in each others space all of the time, but must have respect for each others privacy.

Rent, bills & Council Tax:
Shared on a 50/50 arrangement.
We can reasonably work out the bill split later, but it shouldn't be too much.

*My budget share of the tenancy including bills is £850-900ppm*

Deposit:
50% of rent on my side and 50% on your side. We can talk about this nearer the time.

I do not need to move immediately and will need to give 28 days notice.

If we decide to move forward, then let's first talk a bit more and see how we go from there.
