Professional looking to buddy up or for room

Hi! My name is Jimi and I’m a Video Archivist and Editor in London. I’m looking to buddy up or to find a double room in an all female flat/ house in zone 1 or 2 with a move-in date hopefully between April - May.

I’m 28 and would describe myself as an introvert, I’m definitely a homebody at heart and enjoy staying home in a comfortable space, but I’m always up for a good chat over a meal and I would want to socialise with my roommate/ roommates. So I’d enjoy a good balance between being sociable and having our own space.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, concerts, listening to music on walks, trying out new restaurants and cafes with friends, binging Netflix, matcha, reading and exploring galleries and exhibitions.

I’m mainly looking to buddy up to find a flat with one or two other women and I’m happy for it to be either furnished or unfurnished. However I’m also open to find/ move into a room in an all female flat/ house if available.

I’d prefer a double room with an en-suite, but I’m also happy for my bathroom to be separate if it is a 2b2b situation and I have a bathroom to myself. I also work from home two days per week, so it would be great if my room can fit a desk.

For location I would prefer somewhere with good transport links to my work and with plenty going on nearby. I’m open to areas like:

- Kensington & Notting Hill

- Finsbury Park

My budget per month is £1400 (including bills). I’d love a place that is clean and to live with others that value cleanliness, but I also understand that life can get in the way sometimes and I’m open to hiring a bi-weekly or tri-weekly cleaning service for shared spaces.

Also I’d prefer a modern/ well finished bathroom and kitchen and for the location to feel safe and secure.
