Looking for housing in Kingston Upon Thames

I'm searching for a room within 15 minutes walking or 30 minutes public transportation of Kingston University Penrhyn Road campus. I'm in London for a master's degree. Most of my time will be spent working on my summer master's project at the university. I'm looking for a fully furnished bedroom and a kitchen that has the basic cooking tools as I make most of my meals. A house that has pets is preferred but isn't necessary. I like to do gardening, puzzles, and take long walks and would enjoy roommates that would like to join me.
