After 15 glorious years in Walthamstow (and even more years navigating the wild world of shared houses), I’m officially graduating from the “living with many” era. I’m now on the lookout for one like‑minded professional to buddy up with and find a lovely 2‑bed home together.

I’m a woman in my 40s, a long‑term Londoner, single, child‑free, and a bubbly, busy creative. Politically very left‑leaning (human rights are not a debate club).
By day, I’ve worked in events for a government organisation for a while. By night, I’m involved in the creative arts in various forms — the kind that occasionally involves running lines, attending rehearsals, or getting emotional about good lighting.
I’m often out living life, but when I’m home I value calm, cleanliness, and a space that feels genuinely welcoming rather than “temporary sofa, neutral despair”.

(Bonus: If you’re an actor, I’m always happy to run lines. And if you’re a wizard with self‑tapes, I will 100% accept pointers and say thank you profusely.)

The good news? I have enough furniture to fully furnish a living room and kitchen — properly. Think stylish, comfortable, and deliberately chosen, not “landlord’s greatest hits”.

You’re emotionally mature (gold star), want a home rather than just somewhere to crash, and are tidy without being terrifying about it.
I can talk for England (of course not all the time), so it’d be lovely if you enjoy a good chat, a shared dinner, or the odd glass of wine — but also fully respect that we both have busy, independent lives and don’t need to debrief every minute of them.
