Veganism is not a lifestyle or diet. It is not about humans, it is about justice for non-human animals. It is the ethical principle that humans should live without exploiting other animals.

It recognises them as individuals with inherent rights, and not resources or products. Therefore, veganism is consequently a justice movement for freedom of non-human animals from oppression at the hands of humans.
