Seeking double room in South Mancheter

Hi!

I'm Matt, I'm 33, and I've lived in Manchester for around 10 years now, having graduated in English Lit from UoM in 2015.

My professional background is in communications, but I'm currently working part time Weds-Fri for a textiles/fashion charity while I try to retool as a videographer in my spare time.

I've listed most of my interests but to highlight a few:
- I like shooting street photography and I'm part of a photography club in Manchester
- I play 5-a-side football once a week and also keep fit by going for runs
- I'm part of a film club with a group of friends
- Walking/hiking
- Organising for progressive political causes
- Occasional pub trips and house club nights
- Reading - mostly literature and politics
- I'd like to give swing dance lessons another go this year

In terms of what I'm like as a housemate, I think most people would say I'm pretty chill to live with: I like to keep things relatively tidy but I'm not a clean freak; I'm slightly introverted so I like my own space, but I'm friendly and approachable; LGBT-friendly; I'm vegan but I don't mind living with people who aren't - being able to share plant-based meals occasionally would just be a nice bonus.

I'm looking to rent a reasonably affordable double room in south Manchester somewhere, ideally with a max of 3 other people. If you're looking for something similar between now and mid-May 2026, feel free to give me a shout!
